Mid-century Maude

The Mid-Century Maude remodel project in the Boise Highlands was a thoughtful restoration of two key bathrooms in a home rich with mid-century architectural heritage. The design aimed to honor the original style while introducing fresh updates to create a timeless, modern space that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.

The primary and guest bathrooms were redesigned with materials and colors authentic to mid-century modern design. Crisp white tiles, blush pink accents, and terrazzo floors provide a sophisticated yet playful aesthetic, while geometric patterns evoke the bold spirit of the era. Brushed brass fixtures add a touch of warmth and elegance, perfectly complementing the clean lines and minimalist style that define mid-century architecture.

Warm white oak cabinetry and details throughout the space bring in natural texture and balance, softening the bold patterns and rich materials. The result is a seamless blend of vintage-inspired design with modern-day functionality, capturing the essence of mid-century modernism while offering a fresh, inviting atmosphere. The Mid-Century Maude remodel breathes new life into this Boise Highlands home, creating spaces that are both stylish and respectful of the past.
